The Pride and Joy logo was designed to reflect the heart of a natural, homemade dog food brand rooted in care, tradition, and quality. The name itself emphasizes the deep bond we share with our pets—our “pride and joy”—while also reinforcing the importance of nourishing them with wholesome, thoughtfully prepared meals.

Inspired by the warmth of grandma’s kitchen, the brand identity radiates trust and authenticity. The recipes feature simple, organic ingredients like chicken, rice, carrots, squash, and sweet potato, foods grown from the earth and carefully crafted into meals made specifically for dogs. This grounding in nature is translated visually through clean, vibrant design elements that highlight freshness and vitality.

Unlike corporate competitors, Pride and Joy positions itself as a small San Antonio–based business with a model similar to The Farmer’s Dog, but offered at a fraction of the price. The logo was intentionally designed to be eye-catching yet clean, balancing vibrance with simplicity to embody both the joy of pet ownership and the purity of natural ingredients.
